Mib3 doesn't have the previous destination menu to the extent so you have to keep typing destinations back in compared with mib2... that's my understanding. I run with about circa 250 destinations and Poi import like conventional GPS. Mib3 doesn't match a conventional GPS navigation system or an online one with the extent of favourites so is poor substitute for either. That's my take on mib3 plus the performance issues. Guess it will be improved in this version or another. There was a previous incarnation mib2.5 but never got to Seat with online services. If it had the same destination and previous destination store plus poi import I'd be happy plus the bugs ironed out. Essentially that was the old connected system that Seat never got, worked well. Connected services give you the real time traffic conditions so your routing can be adjusted. The TMC method of Mib2 isnt so timely. Reckon the real time traffic flow speed data is pooled these days from providers but it's that data that gives the edge over mib2 which connected cars, Android Auto and Car Play get..I keep reading statements like that, and I wonder in what way is Google maps (other than being more up to date of cousre) a so much better pefoming product? I have (fortunately it seems) an MIB2 high, and the native nav works perfectly well - much better than the versions I had in my A4 and S3 when it comes to re-routing on the fly.
