As per my other thread heres my graph, I wouldnt have botherd posting it up but i cant make head nor tail of the dip in power around 3000rpm then picks up to peak bhp, im pretty sure its somthing i can feel when doing 4th gear logs.

Ive looked at other graph with all the same mods and even though i only made 197hp on that run the dip doesnt seem to be there?

Any opinions?

if I didn't know better I'd say that he started logging in 3rd, then put it in 4th midway through....

IIRC, he said to be that he was going to get the revs to around 2000rpm then hold it there and then hit full pedel this is when he said for me to start my logs?

I was sat next and im sure it was done in 4th all the way threw.

these were logged with timing pull, possibly hence the reason for slightly lower readings?

Any idea?

Sorry does that mean nothing`s up? im not all that clued up on these graphs. That plot looks alot more like it though. Alot more like my other graphs.

something weird happened with the dyno run I reckon

your airflow 'looks' like it should be, but the dyno didn't

Cheers for that mark, so from my airflow and ploted on to your graph thats a true 230bhp? They were have software issues all day kept crashing and having to restart maybe that had somthing to do with it?

Coober, you say 'atleast' 230bhp but myself and a couple of other members reckon thats pretty much maxxed out for revo stg2 maybe a abit more to be had. ill be getting water/meth next to crank the timing up more as that has seemed to help my lb/ft no end i reckon.

yeh the whole lot mate, Ive got a inlet mani gasket on the way and together with water/meth that should keep the temps down allowing for some more timing to be added. Ive tried a bleed valve held more boost mid range but didnt really like it, phils in the process of testing his so i may put one back on depending on how well he gets on with his. Happy with my results mind ive got a little more faith in stg2 after saturday.

why not spend that money on a custom map and hopefully gain an extra 20bhp and 20ftlb?

Must admit I have been wondering the same. I know it was cheap to upgrade from Revo stg1 to stg2 but if a Jabba custom map would see 240-250 in one hit would this not be worth it?

After all I've read about Revo stg2 I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and pay out for a Jabba map once I have all the other goodies.

I reckons its whats happenin to mine, it comes on boost, hard, overboosts and the ecu shits itself and pulls back, so basically it sounds like its surging. Have you got a 118 log of it on the rollers? I bet your WG duty goes up and down.

I only got this on the rollers, probably due to the different load.

Crappy requested figures from stage 2 doesnt help matters...

These are of the 3rd and 4th run i done in the day, the first two earlier that day showed the peaks and dips more, i'll see if i can dig them out.

ill be getting water/meth what ever as i think its a good mod to keep things cool and also gain power. Im more than likly going to be having a jabba custom map aswell as im not looking to go bigger turbo just get the most out of what i have.

I didnt pay for my revo stg2 so no loss there.

Phil, you reckon this could be somthing to do with the fact that we have cranked out WG? as my previous run at jkm was with all the same mods bar cranked WG and added timing showed no dip what so ever?

Thought i'd show you my graph from that session B3nny, as i never realised how different our graphs are!
Also spoke to will, said mine was actually putting out 208bhp to the wheels not the flywheel when first mapped, power and torque has dropped if thats the case but nothing major.
When i get time, im gonna service her with fresh oil/filter and go see 'will' for another rolling session (As i've heard on here many a times DYNO LOTTO) but as i've had a run there before i'll go again and compare.

Still happy with these results and how smooth it is.



Would like to see the 2 cars side by side.

Cheers for posting that jay, Although they are pretty differant your also getting a slight dip in power at around the 3000rpm stg then picking back up, im not sure if its somthing to really worry about or not. At the moment im putting mine down to the fact ive cranked my WG a fair bit as it didnt show that drop before, and cranking the WG hence that bit more boost could make the ECU have a wobbly then pick back up. I wouldnt mind sombody elses opinion on that.

Side by side i reckon they would be pretty much on par.

Off topic here, Jay do you get much scubbage with how low your car is as thats about the height i would like mine.
