Well, today is the big day!!! The first qualifying Saturday for the BTCC and it's support races down at Brands Hatch!:
10:45 - 11:05 & 15:10 - 15:30 for the SCC.
I know being the very first day of qualification for the very first BTCC & TOCA support meeting of the new season you cannot really say for sure who will be competing near the top but judging by the first test session it looks like JHR and TCR will be the top two teams to look out for this season.
Btw, it appears Jeremy Appleby will be something of a Privateer racing with funding from Hardinge Machine Tools and not with JHR as I had first thought. Is this correct?

Don't know how popular a post this will be for forumers but an issue has come to light for me that needs resolving.
It is in regard to Daniel Welch's current points in the Blaupunkt SEAT Cupra Championship standings. Adding all points amassed for Daniel he ought to have 115pts. Which ought to put him 15pts ahead of Daniel Rowbottom. But he now has 65pts to his total placing him 7pts shy of Freddy Nordstrom. A total deduction of 50pts. And indeed a penalty has been imposed on Mr Welch. But my issue is what offence earned him that 50pt deduction?

I think it was a technical infringement of some description, it was mentioned in Autosport a few issues back but they didn't go into any detail.
