The other day we found we had to log back in to the Primary User on our car (typing in the full email address and password again). This was a real pain since we had to do that before we could drive off. We definitely had not logged off at the end of the prior journey. Has anyone else had any experience of finding themselves inexplicably logged out?

The Infotainment software appears flakier than it ought given the millions of test miles these cars go through during development. I would also highlight after a month of ownership that we're definitely missing the climate control rotary knobs from our previous MK3 Leon FR. Trying to use the touchscreen with gloves on on a frosty morning is near nigh impossible (I'm guessing this problem does not crop up often in Spain!!). A step too far towards a minimal cockpit.

As @Syphon says there has been some issues. There has just been a big over the air update in the last week and it has fixed the issue you experienced, as confirmed by myself and other users. If you haven't had the update make sure the car is connected to interweb (white, not grey, globe in top right infotainment screen), go into settings, software version and hit search updates.

Seems you lost your cookies  .

Dah... live in a very poor 4g spot, rolling hills, reckon anyone with a mib3 unit would have issues if they didn't park up in good signal spot. I can't see I'd get any update over 4g at ground level. WiFi would be different if you could anchor it on that.
