Hi there

I have a 2003 seat ibiza 1.2 12v 3 cylinder with over 100k miles

Just recently I was about to go on a road trip with a few friends
And as I was about to set off I come to a round about and the EPC light come on which slowed my revs down so I got it to the side of the road looked on the internet a few people said turn it off for 5 mins and it will go tried it went off well happy but about 10 minutes after it come back on with the engine management light on and when it comes on now it's like I have no control over the revs it just idles between 1 and 2k rpm and is not drivable when it happens.

Thanks!!

I've never had this sort of problem, but EPC, I think, translates to Electronic Power Control, and one of its sensors will be the accelerator pedal box thing, after that it would be anything, best to get it scanned.

Ahhh yeah I did here something about a spring in the accelerator, is it an expensive job and can it be done by yourself? Thanks
