Did an average on the juice and it did about 250 miles on 37 liters, so between 6.5 and 7 mpl.

MPL, now that is a figure that means nothing to me. Strange really as a buy fuel in Liters but would have no idea on the cost of a gallonof fuel but measure and understand this strange.

Well the tank is 45 litres if i am not mistaken so basically 300miles on a tank of fuel. About average i think similar to what i get from a 1.4 sport.

interesting, that fuel goes in litres but we measure consumption in mpg.

how many litres to the gallon?

i had the impression that the tank held 40 litres.

just found out the conversion from gallo0n to liter

1 gallon to 4.5 liter which means my car is giving approximately 31 liters to the gallon, and it is mostly the highway.

as per the whatcar site (http://whatcar.com/car-review-costs.aspx?RT=793&ED=51073&U=0)
i should get between 32.8 and 53. i would have assumed that i would have gotten close to 40since it is mostly highway (M"%) that i drive on. any idea why i have got low consumption?

tank does hold about 47 litres if I remember correctly.

Welsome mate, you should also get a plastic tag with your keys which gives the correct info to the dealer should you need a new one programmedif you lose all the keys. I'm sure this info will also be held in teh SEAT records though!
