Seat Leon 1.4 MK1 no MAF

Hi all,
Maybe a silly question but here goes:
Is it right that the 1.4 seat leon mk1 does not have a MAF sensor??

im 90% sure it hasnt, why do you want to no that ? problems

Well I have been having trouble with my car cutting out when changing down gear at. Round abouts etc. I was told it could be the maf but wasn't sure if the 1.4 had one. Any ideas what the problem is?
