just got to find a Toledo then!

Maybe an EKTA user could confirm if bulkheads, suspension mounts etc are the same on a Leon/Toledo, certainly appears to be the case

(or maybe if strut braces by other manufactures for Leon and Toledo petrols have the same part number, then it should be ok)

The leon & toledo are exactly the same. The problem that arises is the bar hitting the plastic engine covers. The 1.6/1.8 sit rather low in the engine bay, so no problems there. The tdi's & 1.8t sit a bit higher so some problems can arise there.
Markmck, you can deffo run the AAT or OE TT bar.

Part number

Hey prc,

you think you can check the part number for that TT brace.
See, now there's a bunch of'em out there. Don't think there's a difference but just to be sure we have the same one.

Is it :

8N0 805 629
8N0 805 629A
8N0 805 629B
8N0 805 239A

Thanks,

Xander

I'll be your donor car!
I tried the S3 OE one and found that it doesn't fit cos the Leon bonnet lifter is in the way though and that one supposed fits the golfs.. let me know if you think it will go on..

Hi,
I know that Leon has not holes to put the brace directly, as other cars have. So, aren"t you afraid of drilling holes? Isn"t it dangerous to wound the chassis?
And what about the corrosion because of the water?
Please write some more informations about.
Regards,
Theodore.
