Seat Leon tdi, front mount intercooler! Q/A

ok so ive fitted a front mount intercooler with 2.5" pipe to my 1.9tdi leon. however i have hardly any boost, if any! im 99% sure all the joins are air tight but i have a few questions if anyone can answer them.

1. the sensor on the stock intercooler.. does it need to be connected?
2. i have used quite alot of pipe (about 2m in total. with about 80% of that on the coldside) will this affect boost pressure/power

if both of these are not a problem, can anyone think of any quick fixes i could try so i finally get some POWER!

Get pics up so people can see. Also any sensors removed from the old pipework need to be replaced in an appropriate place in the new pipework

The sensor you removed is the MAP sensor.

If if is not connected and placed in the intercooler line the car will make no boost, always in safe mod, no pressure reading...

You should have some flag on the car use Vag com to check them
