had fault code SECONDARY AIR INJECTION SYSTEN INCORRECT FLOW DETECTED,

been told my mechanic that this is due to me fitting dynatwist induction kit with breather, and he advised me to fit std air box, can this be right or is ther any thing else it could be? ive been running the dynatwist for 18 months with no probs!

secondary air injection shouldnt be anything to do with the induction kit.
ive got one and first thing in the morning it still works 100% until the engines warmer.

no mate, its goes into the exhaust to protect the cat til its up to temperature. the little pipe is an oil breather so shouldnt really blow too hard either, its basically the ambient pressure created by whatever is moving at the other end inside.

the small filter from the dyna twist is where the air goes in...it then goes to the pump then up to the head!

your problem does not lie with the airfilter but with the vaccum pipe (99% sure)

on the right hand side of the head (near the TIP) the is a valve with 1 vaccum pipe going to it, that will probly be broken...replace it

On reading separately, Hooch is almost certainly right about vacuum pipe.

is this the one that goes to a T piece - on going down towards exhurst and the other to the N112 valve...
