Its going back to the garage on Monday to get fixed. Gutted but the guys who did it have been great and promised to fix it asap which is cool.

Chuffed to have the yellow lights completely gone - CraigD is a star!

Bought myself some carbon fibre vinyl today too ready for a mini-mod next week. Had hoped to get the wind deflectors back on today but will have to wait for the wrap to be redone - dont want the wrap guys leaning on them by accident!

Looks real good mate, the wrap should be done round the edges of that lip if they can, should prevent the lift and peel effect.

Detailed the beast this afternoon - excluding the wrap (cant wash it for a week - its probably coming off anyway but took no risks)

Bluefin is awesome - you should definitely do it. I bought direct from Superchips. It was £455 plus £6 delivery.

On other news, my wrap is now sorted - cant take photos though due to the bad weather!

:scary: They rape you for £6 postage when charging that amount !

(For info, a remap at Evotune in Durham is £250 inc vat).

Its not just a remap that you get though, the Bluefin is a hand-set that you can use as a diagnostics tool to read engine code errors, immobilise your car, return the car to stock etc etc

Let me know how you get on with the Bluefin, I had some computer issues because I have a mac but managed to sort it fairly quickly. If you get stuck give me a shout

Will do mate. it should be here tomorrow so should load it on and give it a go:)

So is it (Bluefin) as good as previously posted then Kev?

Sorry to jack the thread S.E.C.T, ill delete this post if ye want...

Well loaded up and went for a spin and yeah transforms the power delivery to the point it was struggling to put all the power down 1st 2nd 3rd on a dry road.
It drives standard until you push on and 3000rpm to red line very fast and pulls so much harder. Not as powerful as a Revo map but very very worthwhile and for £405 delivered from JKM I would do it again.
I had Revo on my FR and the clutch slipped after 3000 miles this maps power is different and the clutch should be fine.
Performance wise 0 to 100 is seen alot quicker than before so as S.E.C.T says very good upgrade with the ability to switch to standard without touring around the country to a dealer.
Oh S.E.C.T thanks for the idea very pleased.

Did you ever get any number plate leds that worked as I want some for mine so if you did can you let me know where you got them from, thanks :)

Sorry dude no, reg light FAIL!

So, woke up earlier this week to a plague of locusts stuck to my carbon fibre roof:

One of the weirdest things I have ever seen - no flies anywhere else. And this was 7am in the morning. They definitely were not there the night before because I had been out for petrol and was admiring the carbon under moonlight. Bizarre!

Anyways, they cleaned off with some detailing spray and microfibre cloth - hasten to add that the flies were actually stuck in the weave of the vinyl and left legs behind which needed some good scrubbing to take off. PITA!

I had ordered my some carbon vinyl you may remember from above, and completed my own mini-mod this week. I had the Leon stainless steel sill guards from my FR but they were battered after 2yrs abuse so I covered them in the carbon. Voila:
