Your car is stunning. Where did you get the brake decals from please?

Also are you in the North East?

:worship: Stunning car mate! That blue...as far as i see it...is the way forward!

Quick couple of questions tho, wat do u mean by paint the hubs silver?? Pics?
and if u get a set of white LED numberplate lights that work could u let me know which ones, ive had 2 sets of "non error causing" ebay lies LEDs that havent worked!?

Cheers dude, will be watching thread!

I have the same ones Xtec, fitted for a month and no errors. Check build thread in my sig for eBay seller and auction no.

Painting the hub / brake disk inner stops it rusting ;)

Demon Plates - excellent service. There was a minor print error on one that I complained about (being totally anal!) and they sent out a replacement immediately.

Fitted the plates tonight, tried to panel filter but it wasnt a good fit. Buying a Carbon intake as I type instead!

HB4 fogs came today too, will do them over the weekend

Yes, the Xenons are BRIGHT!

So I have ordered a Carbon Speed intake, hopefully get that early next week.

Removed the engine cover tonight and had a 'mare - the clip on the OEM intake is a total ******* to remove, should really not have bothered as the Pipercross panel filter I got was not a good fit - hopefully the one with the intake will be better but I will wait and see. Anyway, current position is that the OEM intake is ****ed and not in held in place properly - cant see it moving though. Very pissed about this.

Off to the Mother-In-Laws at the weekend, longish journey (200 miles) but Im sure my cobbled together intake will suffice until we get there.

New number plates were fitted tonight too but no photos yet, was too annoyed by the intake

Hi S.E.C.T,

Lovely motor - absolutely stunning :), loving the CUPRA logo details on the callipers, finishes it off nicely.

I just wanted to ask a question on the trip computer... it shows the actual speed your doing as a digital read out, but can this be changed from km/h to mph?

I have to wait until December/January for mine in Track Grey :(

Yeah you can change the units in the MFD set-up menu - I actually have mine in mph, all other metrics shown are in miles. If you select the speed on the MFD it is also in mph. The one you see on the screen in kmh is there on the consumption display only. If you reversed the settings everything would be in km but the consumption would show mph as well - hope this makes sense!!

that pic of the FR is in darlington car park near barker & stonehouse isnt it?

Correct
