Oh yes, this should make for a good read over the weekend.

Dying to hear how it runs on your Cupra R...

Hi S.E.C.T,

I just wanted to ask a question on the trip computer... it shows the actual speed your doing as a digital read out, but can this be changed from km/h to mph?:(

Unfortunately no it cannot it is a legal requirement that a car in Europe shows speed in both KPM and MPH and you will notice on you're speedo it is MPH only so it has to be shown in a separate display to comply

(Thanks to my local Seat dealer for clarification)

Painted hubs for whoever was asking earlier, they will probably need a second coat at some point!!

And finally my mangled OEM intake pipe, I was unbelievably angry about this last night but the carbon intake is on route to Casa SECT now so all is well:

Wheels off and painted. Used Hammerite smooth - not really a high temp paint but never had any bother before. It was a brush jobby but the paint is very thick which made it a little awkward

Don't know how you did that to your intake - i've just done mine with no problems ! :D

Wheelspin city now - getting some AD08's fitted to the front next Saturday.

It was the clip that gave me bother really, although the air filter was not the right size too! Will sort it all out early next week. At the mother in laws for the weekend so im off out to get drunk

I see your average is 30.1 mpg! You must drive her gentle? Mine is at 28.3 mpg now and still dropping.
The first week I had it reading 31 etc but now used to it and now done 3000 miles so pushing on a bit more.
I've been running my tyres at recommended pressure but going to drop the fronts to 36 psi and try that. I find the 41 psi too hard. What you running?

That was over a 140mile journey back from the Mother in Laws. I was doing 70 to 80mph all the way back with some take overs at high speed for good measure! I was well pleased with the consumption.

Unsure of tyre pressures. Have not adjusted since picking her up

Interested to hear how your bluefin goes.
I'm in the process of deciding to get a milltek exhaust or not.
Just think there should be a bit more noise outside.

Just finished detailing - was getting some strange looks off the neighbours!

She is nice and shiny now though but too late for a photo opportunity!

Off shopping tomorrow, reckon I will get a Forge dump valve.

Also, need to buy a new power washer as mine gave up the ghost tonight - anybody recommend one?

Superchips server was back online today, pain in the arse waiting for them get sorted over the weekend. But once I got the bluefin connected tonight the map was back with me in 5mins.

Then the upload began...
