Hi Guys,

I have just recently had a 40,000 mile service carried out on my Leon Cupra R (Out of warranty Jan) at the main dealers in Coventry, is it exspensive at £290.00?

Additional work advisory:

Rear Discs & pads 65% worn
Both rear shock absorbers leaking slightly - require replacements
Rear Exhaust silencer corroded & bracket broken off
Brake fluid service required
Advise Clutch seems a little heavy - I havent found the clutch any different?
Both anti-roll bar bushes worn slightly require replacements.

At an estimated cost of repair of £780.00 - Is this value for money and could you recommend a repairer of repute that I could take my car for repairs and service work.

Will look forward to your recommendations.

West midlands you could try midlands vw in cannock or stealth racing in coventry.
If your disks and pads are worn 65% in 40k does that not mean you have 16k or something left? I replaced my fronts at 1000 miles left.

Another vote for Midland VW. I used them 2 weeks ago to service my Bora TDI. Had the 60K service with Timing Belt, Tensioner, Water Pump and Aux belt all in for £400. VW wanted £700+!! They really do know what they are doing with VAG cars, very frienldy and helpful too.
