Service indicator

Can anybody tell me how to reset the service indicator on a seat ibiza 1.2 12v

have you tried to search?

or just get it serviced as it is advising?

The car has been serviced by me. As I dont want seat charging me ££££££££ for a simple oil and filter change. If its anything like the VW's I normally work on there will be a sequence to follow to re-set the service indicator,does anybody know this sequence?
If not the bloody thing can blink untill the owner gets rid.

Before putting the key into the ignition, hold the mileage reset switch in, then start car.

Should be gone then

It's also in the handbook in your glove box under servicing IIRC

taking that a biot further

thought it was

ignition off, hold the odometer reset down then turn ignition on and continue holding, then it will flash up oil and then reset, then you can let go. need to hold about 15secs roughly.
