Hello To All!
I have noticed today that the service indicator has started to flash away at me today on the dial! Not a problem if I am due a service but the ironic thing is I had it part serviced about a month ago,I say part the only thing I did not have replaced was the Pollen Filter.I just wanted to know would this make the service warning indicator flash?I have also four days ago had new front discs and pads done but cant see that this would cause the promt either?Any ideas anyone?

:help:

The service indicator is not triggered by any work you have done, it needs to be reset each time you service the car as it calculates when a service is due based on time and mileage covered.

You can either reset it with VAG-com or a diagnostic code reader, the garage who serviced your car should have reset it.

The indicator can also be reset by a procedure detailed in the owners manual, if you don't have it the information is on this site, try searching for it.

All you need to do is.....

Push the trip reset button in and turn on ignition the service light will come on but wont flash, and while still pressed in turn it clockwise for 5 seconds till the service light goes out. EASY!!!!!:)
