well had the second year service today from the stealers and apart from the usual dealer money making thing which got swiftly rejected, turns out that my car needs a new front arb and bushes which will come all courtesy of seat. I know from on hear that the bushes are a problem area and alot of people swap them for the cupra ones question is how much are they, whats the part number and do you think if i bought them the dealer would fit tem instead of the standard ones do they really make any difference or are they just more hard wearing

use the search mate this has been covered hundreds of times, I searched when I got cupra bushes fitted!

they will replace them with the new web-design VAG ones...which apparently are hard wearing but not as stiff as the cupra bushes (unless you purchase the Cupra ones and tell them). Ask them to check your engine & gearbox mounts as these too were prone to early damage

I have had the new ones in for over a year now and no knocking whatsoever yet compared to the void bushes and mounts

i bought a 3 year service plan when i got the car think it was £350

You sure they change antiroll bar bushes for cupra ones? arn't you getting confused with TCA rear bush's?

I'm guessing that its an "Arnold Clarke" special deal - so yes if you can find any paperwork there will be lots and lots of very small print!
