Not that I'm advocating this, but according to the end of lease charge document, a missed service on a lease agreement is a £50 charge.

Seems mightily cheap!
 
Are you sure it means that the car has not been serviced? Or, that there is no service history, stamped book, receipts etc?
Yeah I think that sounds more like it. Surely they want the service to be up to date, else it will have a massive impact on resale value?

It could be £50 to replace any documentation...
 
Spoke to Seat FS this morning, purely out of intrigue more than anything.

They really didn't have a clue, they thought the two different options linked to Maintained vs non maintained. One thing he did say was if BCA get the car and it has a service light on, they wouldn't drive it away and they'd have to arrange a collection at an increased cost. But I guess how hard is it to reset the service light manually anyway.

An interesting one, also as others have mentioned, would this void your warranty?
