wont nessecarily be a lemon mate.... if you think the cars okay, then go for it.... but as said id change the map to a reputable one as soon as you could.

had a stage 2 map once with jabba myself with just a sports cat and downpipe it made 242

very driveable fast car.

i wont mention what happened on the second visit as the car came out at 320bhp and my wallet was broken.... so only go the once.:D

Lol, yeah your wallet was broken, and I bet your pants were a dark shade of brown after you decided to upgrade to 320bhp.

Just a little bit suspicious as it has had a new turbo as well.

That and a map from a cmpany ive not heard of makes me a bit nervous

if your in doubt, have it checked over by a mechanic or aa vehicle check, id say a new turbo was a bonus, whats the mileage??

the map is seriously not a problem, have it redone for a little cash

but if they have a website, why dont the advertise the fact they cover most models...

surely thats bad advertising imo

how much did they charge for the map, was it generic or custom, rolling road results?

if you ring and ask them they should be able to give the answers to this, see if you get unrealistic power claims etc

Just had a look on their website.

If you actually click on cars at the top, and not just the drop down menu, it comes up with pretty much every manufacture

fsh is a bonus, did the cambelt and water pump get done at 60k?

id go for it if your happy with the car matey.

72k isnt a lot with fsh, mines on 88k fsh and runs like a dream

yeah looks okay the mappers, just no feedback from anyone here, tend to stick to forum sponsors.

my advice.... go for it, you obviously like the car

Ok sweet. Cheers for the positve feedback. Just a lot of money to spend, and dont want to bugger it up.

The guy said that its been done, but sure if it was bang on 60k Tho.

What is an acceptable alowance for the cambelt and water pump to be done before damage could ocour?

Upto 65k? or less?

aslong as its been done mate, dont worry.....

should have been stamped when it was done in the book...

how much is the car, pre or post facelift?

Yeah I really do like the car. Just got another hurdle to sort out before I get the car, as hes massively overpriced the car.

So as long as he comes down to the market value, and it all checks out I might be a leon owner

Its a post facelift with leather, and its advertised at £4800.

Ive already told him that its way over priced, and my budget is no where near and he still said come over and have a look

same as mine.... colour?

id pay that price tbh mate, leather aswell, it a whole lot of car for the money

think market price will be around 3900 for this now, without leather.

if you can get him to 4500 youve got a great car for the money

Im not sure to be honest. Really depends on the conditon of the car. I know there is a scratch down to the plastic on the front bumper so we will see.

I got my remap done by these guys. Pulls very strong and smooth throughout the rev range, good economy too.

Right been to see the car and I didnt buy it. The car needed a cambelt and pump doing. There was no documntary to say it had been done.

I also didnt like the way the car was mapped. All the power was between 2/3000 rpm. It felt so on/off.

Then it instantly dropped of after that, felt almost like i had let off the accelerator.

Back on the hunt now!
