short cahnge gearing question

would the short change gear shiffter fit my 1.9 tdi?

As i know they are designed for the 6 speed, but can this still be put in a five speed car like my seat leon mk1. please help im loosing sleep.

5 speed 'boxes have their own shifter, I don't know about the TDi though. see www.eiptuning.com - if you look at the installation instructions you should see if it will fit on your car or not

Forge are, or were, developing a 5-speed version of their shifter. Might be worth checking that out as it's considerably cheaper than EIP and adjustable too!
