On the subject of showing off your Mk2, do you all know we have an index of Mk2 Reader's Ride theads here.

I've popped in an image rotator - what do you think? Despite this being a 'show' thread, good pics are few and far between. I've spent ages trawling through threads for pics.

The Golf Rear axle turned out to be 1cm wider on each side.. and as you can see.. thats not enough! :lol:
So, I need to order 50mm spacers (per side).. first need to save some cash.. and then have to wait for 5 weeks (delivery time).. so.. I guess it will be the upcoming spring before there fitted.. :cry:

I got them off a mate, he previously bought them for his mk3 golf but thought it was too hard to fit so didnt bother, now hes seen mine and wants em back! so ive ordered another set from ebay (20 odd quid though)

the smaller ones were a struggle to fit in but got there in the end no glue was required.

Just noticed he only has 2 sets left! better get in there quick! lol

Too bad the junkyards are so far away from here and the never seem to have an Ibiza, a GTI would be even more rare to find here...

I'd rather like to get an mk3 dash in mine anyway, but I've yet to find one of those too :( Looks brilliant I think. Going to paint my logo white on Sunday I think

@Finan under me: Don't bother.. You don't know me yet. I'm very very very cheap, and new stuff is probably too expensive for me to spend money on it anyway :)

just order simple cover dials that are white, thats wat i have on,
i'll try n find the link to ebay

Ebay mate, there's normally loads, you'll just need to find one that's a similar mileage from yours.
 
Most of the times I'll just think "nah.. too expensive... :(" when it comes to stuff from Ebay.. I'm always running from one place to another about things to do on my car anyway... Just ideas that pop into my head which I can never do because I don't have the money :p

@Finan: Not too bad.. but I also use km/h, not mph.... And yes, I know there's kmh on there too, but it would still be annoying :p
