just stuck on. didnt fancy screwin into the dash... its just a temp measure till i get a pillar... but thats near the bottom of the list, so thought id make it look a lil respectable by dropping a meerkat in the mix

Hello mate I like your scn sticker on windscreen where abouts did you get it if you don't mind. Got one on mine and not that I don't like it but it's White. That one is nice and subtle

Why has everyone gone cheap with the gauges? No offence but surely you want them to look good and be accurate, I see no point in putting tat in my car, I'm just being honest a few gauges I've seen so far look a bit cheap :-/ I have opted for SPA digital gauges in mine, I'd go with makes like auto meter, pod, stack, racetech??? The backlights in the upper end of the price range match the red better too.

Myn was already in when i bought it. My friend spent £350 on guages in his car, they look nice but when you turn them on they do some celebration thing, they go back and forth quickly changing colours and make the most annoying high pitch sound ever!! Rather a cheaper silent one :)

I know it's a budget thing and I don't want people thinking I'm a snob but sometimes you think why would you ruin a nice interior with a badly matching gauge that is most likely for the money inaccurate? Lol a high pitch noise would annoy me, if anyone's looking for a perfect match go for some SPA digital gauges they do a white face with red display, looks the mutts!

I understand what your saying mate. Look at my boost guage, it's 5 posts up, bearing in mind it was already on car so not my personal choice, you think its a cheap looking guage... be totally honest, if you think its utter sh1t then just say I wont take offence. I have been thinking about changing it anyway just want to get a new TIP 1st :)

If you do the bypass you will have a spare port on the inlet mani to put the boost gauge on.

ooh does that mean it doesnt need to be T'd on then? have you (or anyone else) got any pics of that that is/looks like. The only decent guide on doing the bypass is for a LCR which is apparently quite different to the the LC.

you could always get the pillar pods upholstered to match the rest of the fabric in the car
oh and I rewired the autogauges so they light up red to match the other lights inside the car
