just wondered what the signs are for these as im having trouble with boost. the car just feels like a 1.8 not boosting above 5psi at times? Other times it feel like its hesitating then hits you with full boost , not a smooth delivery???

Had a look at the N75 at the number on the side which ends in J, but when i rang SEAT they said they didnt know , ( Great help!!)

Thort i'd ask the experts who know these cars so well, lol im getting there , (slowly lol)

Cheers guys

sounds like it could be a MAF problem to me, you could do with finding someone local to you with vag-com to have a look.

whereabouts are you?

Nottingham mate. it cant be that as i only had that replaced a couple of months ago!! Think i may have to nip it up to JBS at the weekend and put it on their Vag-Com!

Simmilar prob for me.

Sometimes will peak at 18psi and hold at 16psi
Other times peak at 18psi, drop to 10psi for a few secs then shoot up to 16psi.

Mostly happens in 2nd and 3rd gears but not very often.

Vag com test brought up intermittant temp sensor prob last time i had it on.

Didn't really look properly,

My mate had it plugged in clearing another fault and said "you had a temp sensor fault there too"

Never said what one tho.

If i find out i'll post here and let you all know.

Funny thing was, the night after the faults were re-set i did a 2 hour tracknight at Knockhill with no ill effects at all. The car boosted faultlessly!
