cant wait for some decent pics m8,did you say your on the Mlr?
im under same username ;)
Yeah, signed up a while ago, although I've not paid the £35 subscription fee for full access, which seems to rub some of the members up the wrong way lol. They seem to get very offended when you tell them that some other forums don't charge at all and offer the same level (if not more) of features.

Just need some decent weather this weekend so i can get it cleaned up and looking right.

We are supposed to be having great weather for the next three months! So can see a lot of fun time on the horizon for you mate in the new motor.

Oh and by that I'm referring to driving it not anything dirty :cheeky:

Sounds good to me :)

I don't think interior lends itself to anything like that ;)
lol the fee's only good if you want to buy and sell m8 ;)
Yeah i know, that's what i said but there seemed to be a lot of people telling me that i couldn't buy and run an Evo if i was moaning about paying 35 quid a year to subscribe to a forum lol, like that's their way of justifying it. It's not the cost, it's the fact i can get all those features and more elsewhere for free so i just don't like to feel as though I'm being ripped off.

Anyway i guess that's not really a discussion for here, i will provide some novice style pictures once clean.

Don't get too excited though, it's not some 500bhp modded monster, it's just a stock Evo, barring the wheels (which i will change for the standard items when i can), air filter and exhaust :)

Guessing the standard wheels are still hard to find at the right price Leigh?
Touching about £1k new, there are some floating around second hand, but usually the wrong fitment, if they are in the right fitment they are usually rough but still people seem to want £450+ for them, that plus the cost of a decent refurb and I'm not really saving a lot.

I've heard they can be picked up for around £200 second hand occasionally, so I'm holding out :)

Plenty of other RR threads on here to see you through the night mate, i recommend the Autotechnica LCR 4wd conversion ;)

Definatley worth holding on for as long as you can then mate,if still nothing then you might as well buy new considering what they fetch secondhand.

Would imagine what are on her would pull good money to put towards a new set :)

I don't know to be honest, I'm not sure the wheels that are on it are that desirable for someone to want to buy them.

I don't really want to have to splurge £1k on wheels if I'm being honest, we'll see what comes up :)
