The interior for me was the big selling point over the Cupra, I couldn't live without those seats lol

I'm thinking when I have a bit of spare money (after I've done few handling mods) I'm going to keep an eye on the for sale sections for a Revo intake.

The modded engine cover really does tidy the engine bay up, it hides the ugly tfsi engine nicely.

If anyone fancies buying the standard Cupra R engine bay cover I'm happy to sell mine, we removed it when we went stage 2+ but gonna leave it off now as will need as much cool circulation as possible when we go stage 4.

Also got a pair of H&R anti-roll bars for standard Cupra R MK2, they're only 6 months old but we had to replace them for S3 ones for the AWD conversion.

Thought I'd upload a quick vid of the 3rd dyno run at the Awesome RR day the other week just after the APR stage 1 map had been put on the car.

Awesome mate, the speed blue looks so good, I really wanted that colour but there was only a candy white when I got mine, still happy with it though as the black trim on white body gives a good contrast.

I've just ordered the front bumper splitter from Triple R Composites, you can find loads of pics of the MK2 on their facebook page, can't wait to fit it.

That intake makes it sound like its gna take off :D :D : D

Had a few people comment on how loud it was on the day. Always wanted to hear how it sounded from the outside.

Cheers dude, I looked at the Triple R, just teasing myself though I think, I'm still recovering from open wallet surgery after the recent spending lol.

After the failure of trying to get the Eibachs put on my car last weekend (front droplinks proved to be an arse to get off) I was kindly offered help from OliTaylor07 who has a mate who is a techie at the dealership he works at.

So I drove over there today left the car in the capable hands of Rick.

He set about the car straight away whipping the wheels off, then the hub nuts, the right hand side proved to be a little stubborn though, to the point where it broke his power bar :scary: snapped the end clean off!!!

Having had previous experience doing the springs on Oli's car he made the rest of the job
look easy so we left him to it and went for a hot chocolate :funk:

A couple of hours later the springs were on and I took the car for a quick spin to make sure everything was ok (which of course, it was)

The result as you can see from below is a nice subtle drop, the ride itself it certainly no more harsh than the original springs were, it'll take a week or so to let it settle I think before I get the alignment done, but for now I'm a very happy chappy.

After

Just like to a big thanks to Oli and Rick once again for helping me out, cheers guys :worship::cheers:

Yeah was good to meet up again.

How crazy was that, I couldn't believe it, I just thought the socket had slipped off the end then he showed me the bar and it had just sheered off!

It was funny when the other guy came over and undid the nut just as Rick was bringing the scaffolding pole over lol.
