Bought some rubber edging from eBay the other day to go round the heat shield where the intake routes through, the protective foam on the intake itself has started to lose the battle against the heat in the engine bay.

I cut a small piece off the roll I got and fitted it to the heat shield just as extra protection for the intake piping, these engines move around an awful lot under load so I don't want the pipe work being damaged, this should do the job nicely

No piccies as it's not really that interesting a picture but worth mentioning if anyone else is in the same boat.

After the review that big eck gave after his were fitted recently probably not no, he didn't sound too bowled over lol
