I don't think it's sunk in yet lol, it will do when the new owner drives her away
Plans are to take my time, I'm in no real hurry to replace her, but I will be moving away from the brand, looking to import an Evo 6 from Japan.

I loved the Mk2 mate, I would have been happy enough if nobody had bought her, just felt the timing was right to make the move if I was ever going to.
I was going to give it until the advert on Pistonheads ran out before maybe taking her off sale (the advert would have had 1 day left to run lol)

Yep I'll miss her, great car and always put a smile on my face when i got behind the wheel.
I think if you import the right eco, you could end up with a classic on your hands and import cars tend to have low mileages on them too. I'm looking for a second car - will keep my mk 2 lcr for day to day use as I would miss the power every day. As for my second car, it's hopefully going to be a TVR with a V8.......prices seem to be heading north.
I'll be looking for a good low mileage car and it'll be garaged and not used in crap weather so there's every chance it could increase in price.
The jap imports look like they've just rolled out of the factory underneath because they aren't subject to all the salt and crap we have an our roads.
I was actually looking at a mint Maserati but it sold before i had chance to do anything about it, that would have been a cracking investment.
Crap weather? You live in t'frozen north man if you only use it when the sun shines that'll be July . The 23rd. What you going to use for the rest of the year?
