thanks for that - only 2 years too late tho..
(when i was at engineering college doing a nvq in motor vehicle, i did a presentation on turbochargers and how they work... if only id known about VNT turbos... i would have got better marks )

Yeah, I would think giving it a good hammering once & a while will help keep the soot level down.
