sort my window out for me

yesterday during the subzero temps i tried removing ice from my passenger window the lazy way...sending it constantly up and down

then it dropped.

so i've removed the door card and foam insulation and pushed the window all the way up. now what do i do? please no-body just tell me i need a new window regulator... i've been here 4 years and it means **** all to me. can hear the motor working when i press the switch.but the cables are slack i imagine they shouldnt be? so i dont know what broken or what i need to do

really need to be simple here

Cables have possibly snapped,

I think I've got my old one if you wanna have a look at it Carl, I'll have a look in the shed.

yes the cable has snapped i just pulled it out and got one end??? any clues what i should do?

i have a window regulator wi cables etc that I bought for the 1.4. Never fitted so keeping for the Cupra ready for when it happens

ohwell T&T service & parts dept has shut so gotta wait til monday, tbh think i'll just give in and let them do it cos i havent the energy to care

right at this very minute I hate the fecking thing and want rid for an evo

current issues include:
the window
knackered cv joint
bad wheel alignment
misfire from either **** plugs or a coil on its way out

i was like that wi the 1.4 had it for 4 years. in the last year i was beyond caring about it!

nearly 4 years, its been good to me but somewhere along the line i've got older and just dont care as much i just want a car that works

Im in the same boat just had a fair few expensive niggles lately and ive totally lost interest and also ive got that bit older and want somthing a little more snazzy before i do the mature thing and buy a house lol.

As soon as the latest problem is sorted she`ll be up for sale.

yeah just buy an evo, you know it makes sense, thats the only reason i got the cupra, due to insurance on the evo's
