first dibs on the rocker cover then and second dibs on the inlet manifold, do you all know black is the new bling? hard at work earlier removing my inlet manifold and charge pipe, all prepped up and painted, even managed to get a refund on the tins of paint i used as they both ran out of propellent with about a quarter of a tin of paint left

went with hammerite straight to metal satin black, the charge pipe looks more of a gloss in the pics below but it seems to go more satin as it drys (inlet was done first), not easy to spray with, need to put a thin coat on first then really lump it on!

will refit it all first thing tomorrow morning, ive got a little surprise too with regards to the dipstick, i hope its going to work but i hate that bright orange tube!

anyways, remember black is the new bling!

not too bad to be honest phil, need a good toolkit though as plenty of extension bars/ hex headed sockets needed, took around 20mins i'd say? still not loads of space around the oil temp blanking bolt mind! paint is still drying as we speak and it'll all be refitted in the morning, think its gonna look good against the contrasting matt black rocker/throttle, we'll see

From what i've read Phil, £30 each!! Im not sure about that being right, thats alot of money for one mat!

im guessing the cupras mats are different to the 1.4's, etc. Mine has OE spec SEAT mates in it which fitted perfectly but they didnt have the clips built into them to attach to the clips in the carpet, ive also ditched the back mats as they kept getting caught under the drivers side metal bar that attaches to the runner and it was ripping the backing to bits on them leaving white foam everywhere.

new bling refitted this morning, looks good!
