shift action feels really positive and nicely weighted, gone is the girly shift, shift length is reduced by about 30%, really easy to fit, first problem is removing the front exhaust heat shield, intructions say to undo the exhaust coupling and just side the exhaust forward so its out of the way, not quite that easy when you have a 2.75" aftermarket exhaust and the car is jacked up! ended up bending it out of the way but too mangled to go back in, will buy another and get a exhaust place to fit it when the cars next in for work, the other problem is the lid to the casing that holds the shift linkages, its held on by bent metal tabs which are pretty much one use as you cant get any tools in there to rebend them closed so i drilled it and screwed it, much better solution, B+M do provide bolts and nuts to pass through the box but its impossible to get a spanner in to hold the bolt whilst you tighten the nut so im not sure what they were thinking there!

Ah well, i have returned from butlins, scathed, battered and bruised!
And what a weekend!
Its fair to say that Butlins will not be the same place ever again, Fridays Scuba diving outfit for fancy dress, went down very well!
Saturdays lifeguard outfits, were loved by everyone.
Sunday was a mix of both, because it was too hot to dress up as a banana, which people liked!

Monday mornings, Butlins-fields, our own version of creamfields, though didnt go down to well, and at around 04:00 Monday morning, we were evicted from the Big Butlins house, for blowing whistles, and singing and dancing!

All in a good weekend though, and im back in work, with no voice!
