Rather than run the cables for the shifter between the heatsheild and exhaust tunnel bring them trhough the bulkhead and bolt the shifter box inside the car.

does any1 know where i can get some real narrow 12mm spanners? snap on dont have any and the manifold is puttin up a fight so its either cut the thread smaller or mod some spanners,

Go to somewhere like poundstretcher, Big W, somewhere cheap like that, they'll have thinner spanners.
Infact i bought some from Asda's a while back which are quite thin, hope they are thin enough for you.

ok cheers m8 another question now can i fit the turbo mani dp and still use the standard ecu to get about for now as i will be fittin these bits later 2day and wont be able 2 get the vag com on it til monday.

Nah Phil, wasn't a full geometry. Just had the fronts done as the steering wheel was out when travelling straight since I sorted the top mounts.

Jivey, in regards to your exhaust rubbers, how in hell did you fit them to the car? I looked on saturday, and the mounts on the body of the car look like they'd need to be replaced, is this right?

Rubber mounts were an arse, we had to cut them down load to get them to fit.
