he never saw more than 140s when he first put it on so i think theres no guarantee it is the sensor...especially when the airflow increased when he changed the air filter

anyway...the reason hes got this maf now is cos he doesnt want me (even though i dont have the dp or fmic) beating him on the rollers next week
yeah, thought i'd try it to eliminate. Was getting low 130's. Will do a log on way to work in a bit. Might not sort it but, elimination at least £90 tho :/in mine? yeah but ive got a small system planned comprising of a DLS 3 channel reference amplifier, Diamond audio D3 components and a Diamond D1 10" sub in .5cuft enclosure, should sound sweet! it'll all be run from the factory headunit using a hi level=low level convertor
I got CD player mountedunder the steering wheel. Standard system otherwise though.
Did have a JL sub PG Amp and Diamond Audio M661 comps at one point!

that is how they have done mine using the high level input, it is not what i am used to, do they make anything to change the head unit?
why does the bonnet always look a different colour on these cars, i have seen so many pictures now and they are all the same
In the flesh is best to judge. Mines fine. Seat paintwork isn't renouned for being the best though.
Got my catch tank this morning, very nice indeed, not gonna use that awful hose pipe that comes with it tho. 19-15mm connections could prove tricky tho.

Yeah i thought about 15 to 19, but if you get the 19mm hose, im sure you should be able to secure it to the 15mm connectors.

I'm not bothering with a ko3s now, doesnt sound like that much inscrease over stage 2 according to what i've read just recently, someone was still gettin 12psi at 6k, which is a whopping 1psi more than the ko3. Not a great gain for a few hundred quid. Gonna max this one out and by then i'll either have enoug money saved for something better.
Stage 2 waste of time IMO. Glad it was only £90.
From peoples experience of Chipped Ibizas moving onto K03s'd Ibizas they seem it was a well worthwhile change.
MK4Polo was a good example of this.
But yeah, decided not to go any larger (turbo) for 270-280bhp because I didnt feel the gains were good for £. Looking at £1000 for the kit then remap on top plus fitting.
This will be the last of my mods, hopefully then move onto something better. Not quite sure what yet though

I can see me goin for the eliminators to be honest, more specifically the GT2X 800 odd quid for the turbo now, diy job as well, then hopefully, well its obvious, that REVO will do something to accomodate it, more like stage 3. I reckon they will be the most common upgrade for the 1.8t engines soon.
