Hi after doing some research on here I thought i'd treat my car to a new set of Spark plugs so thought i'd go with the NGK PFR6Q which most people reccomend and they come standard on the car? It's what I thought I had on the car aswell as I had the plugs changed last time, when the car was in the garage for other work.
However no...the garage had fitted some bosch twin pointed jobbys
no idea what the lifespan of those were but had them in the car for about 35k ... no wonder i was getting crap performance and petrol consumption!
No I've got the NGK's in the car is instantly a lot smoother (can hardly tell the engine is running) and on the short blast I just had, it seems to be driving loads better!
My only question is...one of my coil packs looked brown in colour compared to the other ones which were silver
it looked kinda burned...does this mean that it needs replacing?
