Excuse me for broken grammar,
So ive been absolutely BLASTING my SeatSound system and ive noticed at max volume tweakers sounds very distorted, and so im searching for any potential speaker upgrades for tweaters, midbass speakers and maybe replacing a better STOCK SHELL subwoofer on a STOCK head unit. (i doubt ill find any NEW OEM speakers considering its not a brand new car)
Also as i mention before - are there any stock shell subwoofer upgrades? without removing spare tablet type wheel? open for any recommendations or ideas

Don’t apologise for your grammar buddy!

Upgrade the amplifier before upgrading your speakers; you’ll run into distortion and damage the speakers thrashing them with an under-powered amplifier, rather than a high-power amp not being thrashed…think of ragging a small engine in a heavy car compared to a powerful engine not needing to be worked hard.

i upgraded the system in my Octavia using an Audiotec-Fischer Match amplifier (admittedly doing speakers and sound deadening at the same time), but the amplifier makes all the difference!

I hope that helps,

Nick

But the Seat Sound System doesn't have an external amplifier. The speakers are connected directly to the multimedia unit.

That doesn’t matter in general, as the Match amplifiers are speaker-level and the wiring loom goes in line from the output of the Multimedia system.

That being said, as you have Seat Sound, it may be a different story; I’d suggest doing some deeper research, as while you can upgrade the speakers, I think upgrading the amplifier first would be a better option.

hope that helps!
