Dont think ive ever seen a cupra r with the actual recaros in it. i knew you could get them but never actually seen them... and i wasnt going to buy it anyway u know its been given stick if it is a press release car lol...

What a twat, he has the back seats folded down and a stupid bolt in cage! Why, its not as if he's a track maniac with standard suspension brakes.

In fairness he would of bought it like that, infact he was probably sold it as a 'special' edition......

As Fl@pper suggested and a few others have said these were SEAT cars and SEAT put the cages in (like the old Mk3 Ibiza Cupra R's) they were used at places like Rockingham for driver experience days.

They had professional drivers in the passenger seat and you got to thrash the @rse off the car. SEAT wh0red out some LCR's (all yellow) to the press, public and others (including Syphon if I recall) to try and shift a few cars.

They had the chequered flag graphics on them as well if I recall.
