Another pleasant experience from a main dealer, the first being when I bought my car 6 months ago, this time returing for a simple service.

Dropped the car off just after 8, cycled to work for 9am and received a call at 9:30 with an update, only needing a new indicator bulb and some wear on the brake discs.

All handled by the cheery lassie on the service desk

Thats good to hear. I will be using them from now on as I refuse to go near my local dealer now! I'm sure I can arrange a 'business' trip to Aberdeen so that I can claim the mileage back!!

They were more than helpful when I bought the car too, I got, in my mind anyway, a good deal, saying that they looked surprised when I went in looking for a mk1 but luckily they received my one for trade the day before :D

dont go near them theye are an absolte shambles in my opinion and thats from personal experiance

That sounds about right!

I am trying to get some things from their parts department just now, phoned but no reply, emailed and still no reply after 5 days!

Also VW specialist cars is poor. Mum, dad and other family members have bought a few cars from them over the years, everytime there has been a problem and they are so unhelpful [:@]

I called them for some brake pads this week and found them to be no problem, had to get my chassis number for them though. Picke them p about half an hour later.

Well have to say, when I phoned them today the lad I got was quite helpful! Didn't have the parts, but he ordered them and should be a couple of days so I guess it just depends on who you get.

Just called them up on Friday to order a Fabia rear wiper, guy was slightly confused that I was putting it on a Leon and had a bit of banter, but no problem with ordering the parts, hopefully they arrive soon.

Well the parts department certainly seem lacking somewhat, ordered the parts but never heard back about them, obviously they just didn't order them.
