Hi all, how do I remove this item? The big grey part. Thanks this is my 1st post

Thanks for a fast, no garbage answer. You've saved me a lot of messing about.

Hi lawrie, its the big section that runs from around the heater control, up both side of the stereo, around the air vents and then around the dials. Where there is 4 screws. Two horizontally either side, infront of steering wheel. Two that screw upwards into the top. Infront of the dials.

Is that a diy job? Or more of a specialist job? Thanks for you replys

Well i have been vinyl wrapping diy style today a few bits on my car and it's certainly not easy, requires a lot of patience. I hate to imagine how diffcult the plastic shroud on the dash would be.

right here it is wen i painted it the same colour as the car (i had painted it anthracite before)

@ igsnoddy, we're talking about the large plastic shroud that goes round the dials, not the climate and headunit fascia

Would it be a stupid idea to spend a lot of preparation time covering everything up. And spray it with doors open?
