Would this hose being split cause a burnt stale oil/petrol smell inside the car once the blowers were on ?

My 2002 Leon cupra stinks when i put the heaters on to the point where i dont want to use them i feared a split breather but wasnt sure where to look !

Explains it then, if i put the aircon on, or it on recirculate its fine, but put the blowers on and add heat with no recir or aircon and it makes me dizzy within a few minutes ! Will check this hose out later ! Thanks

Found mine split today on my 2002 Leon cupra 180

At least i now know why i get burnt oil fumes whenever i put the blowers on in the car !

Thermostat Problems

hi guys,

just a quick one, i have ordered the breather for mine off ebay (silicone replacement) but ive noticed its the pipe that this attaches too that looks like its goin down instead of doin a left at the top of the crankcase. recon i could just cut it down to sleeve the new one over it below the break in the pipe?

I'd get the proper formed hose, its on eBay for £30. I made mine from q straight length but I wouldn't recommended it as the bends a bit tight and I had the re-enforce the pipe internally to stop it kinking
