My brother has one of these things fitted and i must admit i'm not a fan.

I've just removed it from his car and tried to do the vacum test that i'd do on a 007P and it doesn't hold the vac. Is this normal??

It has 55 clicks from loose to tight, is there a scale to compare the amount of clicks to the coloured springs that come with normal forge re-circ valves? Failing that i'll stick it them both on a dead weight tester at work and make a table.

Sorry i was shooting my puss off without actually looking at the valve so i now know that amout of clicks determinds the amount vented to atmosphere.

DIFF QUESTION REGARDING SPLIT-R VALVE:

Do you notice a drop in perfomance? Some people say yes and some people say no. The reason i ask is before splashing out cash for this valve, id prefer not to lose any boost or performance.

Sorry bill not read them. Was just scanning over and making pap of myself.:D

I prefer the 007 and open cone to the 'R' tried it on my car this morning and i'm defo not a fan. It makes a dull woosh occasionally compared to the crisp note of the 007 and that was with vent to atmos fully open. However the 007 makes a totally different noise on my brother's ibiza compared to mine. His makes a rally car style chirp.

so long as its not leaking there should be no performance loss
