Squeaking steering wheel

I've noticed that on hot days I get this annoying squeak/creak from my steering wheel, I've read another thread about this so it must be fairly common any ideas on how to get rid of it

somthing plastic is expanding with the heat and rubbing when you turn the wheel

if you can find out what is rubbing all you need to do is apply a little grease

My 2.0l did this as well. Think it was coming from the adjustable part behind the wheel on mine.
