Just been having a look and I think I go into the yellow block.
Pin 1 is the line out left rear
Pin 2 line out, right rear
3 = ground
4 line out left rear
5 line out, right rear
6 switched positive

Right that thing will take a speaker output and take it to line out levels. This involves tapping / cutting the left most and right most wires going into the brown connector in your picture above and connecting them to the little box of tricks you have been given. You would also need to tap one of the wires in the black connector to make a feed to power the amp on and off.

The alternative method is to buy the lead I mentioned above. To fit this you remove the yellow part of the connector in your picture and fit the new yellow part thats on the lead.

Depends if you want to run with the kit you have or if you want to buy the other lead and take this one back.

You got it mate.... The PC3-11 lead brings those connections on the yellow block out to two Phono's and a bullet connection for the amp remote power.... Just saves you making the lead up yourself:)

Don't know if its me, or because its a different car, different headunit etc, but it doesn't seem as clear a 'punch' if you get me. Not had a play though setting it up so will do when I get time. Need some dynamat now though due to all the farts the car is making!

yellow lead

Hi glad this works as I am thinking of taking out the becker mexico and putting back in the factory unit.

The question I have is what wire did you use to switch the sub on ?.

Thanks

For sale : becker mexico pro 4627 (two months old)

How did we get on with sound quality in the end?

Would i be right o assume that the line out feeds in teh yellow block are basically the same as an RCA feed, (base this unpon the fact someone said - as we know normal speaker feeds would blow the sub) i deduse this as the adaptor shown to convert doesnt seem to inc any resisters to protect the amp.

Hope that makes sense, am i right? just to get it all straight in my mind.

Amusing isnt it, even seat dont know how to fit a amp/sub to the stock HU of the top of their heads, said they'd have to contact a audio specialist.....silly people.

Regards,
Matt

Hi All, new to the group here.
I've been looking around the forums for about a week now to find out this exact thing, as i have just fitted my sub in the boot with the line outputs taken from the Yellow Mini ISO connector on the back of my Alana MP3 HU.
Works just fine. I even made up the cable myself from a spare Mini ISO i had lying around.
The pin outs are indeed correct from the earlier post, with pin 6 being the remote wire to turn the sub on. Pins 1 , 2 , & 3 are the line outputs for LR , RR , and earth. Only one set required for the sub.
Now I have a working Sub from the standard HU, and I also installed the Sony 6 Disc multichanger (T70) , via a connect2 interface into one of the other Mini ISO's. This also works 100% and fits into the glove box like a ,,,ummm glove !

Sound quality isnt fantastic, but adeqate for a standard head unit. I'd say when funds allow , I might change for a better HU, and an adapter to retain steering wheel functionality, which I believe are available from caraudiodirect.com.
