Guys do the leads from car audio direct definately work for the facelifted ibiza FR (mine is an 08)?

I have checked the ones I have ordered and sent back as they didnt fit, and they are the same part numbers.

I also checked halfords and they told me they dont make them yet:confused:

Works perfect in my '57 Ibiza! Which bit didn't fit?

Sticky

All thats left to do now is connect a 3.5mm jack on the end of the aux in wires (HU end) to retain the aux in next to handbrake - then I'll have USB for my 'pod and an additional input for none-ubs devices :funk:

i think he means the adapter that all the retailers are suggesting, which is what they did to me. For people with the revised facelift (06 onwards) they suggest a quad adapter which is not compatible. I believe this is caused by the introduction of the new VW's at the time.

However, this adapter is for ALL facelift models '02 onwards

bought the recommended parts and they dont work in my car!!!!

Did you need to do anything with the wiring to get it to work? There is a block on the wiring that I got that only has one wire going into the back of it, where as the car connecting side has about 5 or 6 wires!!

Help!!!

it's only supposed to have one wire which is the remote connection. The other wires are power etc. from the harness. What model is yours?

exact same as yours mate, 08 fr.

All the connections fitted perfectly and everything but nothing worked. Dont know if its faulty or something or whether I need to change any wiring about. Its a sony headunit.

did you buy the hu interface adapter which connects the hu to the harness adapter? both adapters connect to a small transformer box. make sure the jack is plugged in properly into the back of the hu

P.S i got a steering control adaptor and hu adaptor for sale :) check out my post in accessories for sale section
