I'm [possibly] going this afternoon to get a quote, will keep you guys informed,,, 60 euros seems like a reasonable price, I hope [and think] that it won't be that much dearer over here,,,

went to the trim shop and had a good laugh this afternoon, the guy there was obviously in the mood for kidding,,,
He asked 150 euros for the trim job and told me: "we don't do that, we send them to a company that does the job" now this obviously means that he will charge on the price said company does, to take his part plus there's the shipping fares,,, so I guess that the price as said by cr33p is, normally, about 90 euros, maybe even less.
Then he went like: "and you bring me the steering wheel" meaning that it was my job to take it off the car,,, :cartman: so his job was basically send the steering wheel, wait and then get the money from me,,, bast*rd!
I then asked for a complete interior retrim [yes, the seats too are worn,,, as so is the stereo facia, door card trim, gearstick and gaitor,,, everything!!] and he said, for a cloth retrim that would be roughly 6-700 euros!!! I told him I could get a complete set of leather seats for half the price and went away,,,

I'm after another trim shop,,,

Robbing git, my friend at work had a full retrim on his bmw 3 series, got front and rear seat, door cards gear gaitor, handbrake, steering wheel, the lot done for £1200 thats 1,790.86 euros, what a rip and my mate got half black leather outside and cream leather inside with white piping and m3 badges embroided into the two front headrests. That was done a a place called Kish interiors in sunderland.

150 euro's would have been my guess in the first instance, its not just the cost of the leather its the labour involved with added tax, vat and whatever else they can muster up.

yes but he asked for 150 euros to let another company do that!! this means that he pays the company say 75 euros + 25 euros for the shipping and he takes 50 euros clean for himself for doing nothing,,, let's say his part is not 50 euros, let's say it's just 25, I know there's someone else out there that can do the job for less and I won't have to pay someone for doing nothing,,,
