Stereo problem

Hi guys, i have a 2003 Leon 1.9 tdi, and my stereo headunit has stopped working.

it turns on the light comes on and it says 'safe' on it but wont do anything else.

Any help or ideas would be great fully recieved

Hi,

i havent got a manual for the stereo im afraid. when it is in safe mode it also wont let me put the radio code in. by disconnecting it will it reset it and allow me to put the code in?

Have you got the radio code?

If so leave the radio switched on for 1 hour then you can re-try.

The four numbers are entered by using 1 2 3 4 of the 6 radio preset buttons.
Then hold the PRGM button and it should beep and turn the radio on.
