Stoneache Seat looses dealership?

Can any one validate this info is it true Where do we go now?Bedford ok if you live near,why cannot all VAG dealers honour warrenty work they can do your service and stamp the book wots the differance Sorry I did meen stoneache not ERRRR!

Well Scott i havnt rang Seat yet but the story goes that only Sat dealers can do warrenty work seems bonkers to me.

i thought it was 3 years seat warrenty then 1 year dealer so it then becomes 4 years in total? or was it 2 seat and 1 dealer cant remember?

Well the stealers only really make money on servicing and warrenty work so i doubt they will turn you away

It's 2 years Seat and one year dealer warranty except for imports.

Indeed it is shame about MK Seat, if there was another decent Seat dealer around then I would consider another Seat for the next car, but not at the moment!

There is a rumour going about that there is a SEAT dealer to be opened up in Northampton sometime soonish, though nothing official yet.

Have had car serviced at Stoneacre MK on 1/2/05; have beenked in for warranty work on 16th. No sign of losing franchise. Am I missing something?

rumour is stone ache MK may be in trouble.
but i stress this is a rumour.

but i can say the previous seat dealership at the same premises went bust.

Indeed MK SEAT as a buisness had plenty of money in the bank when they changed over to Stoneacre.
