Stupid Noob HID Question

You can put HID's in fogs but they don't work as well unless you get the lower K ones. 4300K etc... The whiter/blue light just reflects worse than the standard yellower light. They look better though :rolleyes:
 
You could do them but then you would need another kit, with more ballasts etc. You shouldn't be using you fog lights anyway for normal driving therefore shouldn't have the need to have HID foglights. Just buy some ultra white lights for the foglights when you need to use them in the fog... Although dipped HIDs are more than enough in the fog...

wouldnt the 3000K kits be the best for the foglights as the light emitted is pretty much yellow, and correct me if im wrong the yellow light cuts through the fog easier so they'll be better than any other bulbs on the market??
