nah the cable tie is off it now, used some contact adhesvie to glue it and the cable tie held it on.

Another couple of updates:

spent sunday taking apart the air conditioning, this included the condenser and all the hosing. Leaving the compressor on until nando fits the charger in its place.

Hopefully getting a lightnened flywheel, new sports clutch and quickshift kit when i get paid, so that'll make everything alot nicer to shift

where did you get that mesh?

You can buy it at halfords of order it from someone like Demon Tweeks.

Alternastively you can get a FK Badgeless grill, looks the same as the standard grill but without the badges

I'v seen the fk one but like Chrisdaman's mesh, a lot of mesh can look taccy!

yeh i've had people already asking me about how i'm doing it, but until i'm finished no-one else

next up is the megasquirt, i decided last nite, i'm getting paid loads this month so hopefully i'll be megsuirted by mid august

more bhp anyway, and fully remappable

the MS is a cool little ECU, simple to setup, and easy to use.

yeh the guy thats doing it is gna remap it for to, to get a good performance map until i cahrge the car

I mean for all the fine tuning that will just be undone by the SC?

just scaled the AIT & CLT sensors if you want properly accurate scales (not just dipped in a saucepan of water etc

yeh gd point, we'll see how it goes anyway, i'm sure theres a module that you can buy that means you can switch between maps, only between 2 but that's enough anyway

just get a 2nd ECU then switch them over

eh? no - you can have switchable maps, or just have infinite ones on your laptop & then just upload in a couple of seconds.

however - I meant - there's no point fine tuning a map on a car that's going to change very soon.
