Hi all

Still trying to find out as much as I can about Leons before I pick up my LC. Ive heard that the LC is Golf derived suspension, and the LCR is S3 derived, is this true? Any other differences ie ARB, Wishbones, steering rack etc

Cheers
Stan

Theres a thread roundabout's here some place.....

That states the lc has golf mk4 derived suspension on the front, and the lcr has tt derived front suspension, can't comment on the rear i'm affraid...

I expect some one will be able to claify this....

Just found a thread stating S3 front on an LCR, and Golf on an LC. Can I swap the fronts on an LC to S3 stuff fairly easily then?

Can't see why not, but you'll need to change the whole front suspension i would hazzard a guess...

Front struts
lower arms
anti roll bar
arb links

and depending on the diameter of the struts possibly the strut carriers, brakes, calipers, and associated gubbins...

all sound's a bit too expensive to bother with, tbh...
