I drove passed my first new shape Cupra Leon yesterday it looked smart, definitely looks better in the metal. Has a unique look to it now.

What colour are your badges on the car now? They look quite dark in the photo, are they chrome? My old shape has black ones so must be a new thing.

Good shout on the boot liner, the first thing I got. I didn't like how the official ones had the Leon wrote in the Seat style though so just ended up getting a plain one

The current badges are chrome. They look fine from some angles but get lost from others which is why I'm switching to Black like I have on my last couple of cars.

Ahh the boot liner arrives on Monday didn't realise it would have the Leon italics, bummer. That one is a lot cheaper too!

I popped in today and got to see the car in progress. First time I've seen it clean!

Full machine polish and defect removal. It wasn't too bad from the factory, just a few issues in the paintwork and a scratch in the side skirt driver's side that thankfully polished out.

Also, the first coating was applied, and the wheels still need to come off and be coated. It has green flecks in the paint, which sometimes gives it a greeny hue.

Reckon it will be the last of @Syphon ICE cars. Nothing wrong with an EV. See BYD have solid state batteries in the pipeline that will charge in 10 minutes.

I'm no mechanic but isn't that the intercooler? Hopefully CUPRA know what they are doing!

Pheasant sized ?.?... another positive point of EVs no rad unless they put the heat pump there. Have to look at the Tavascan front end. That optional heat pump would be chilly if you didn't order that for the UK.
